We’re more than excited to host a solo art show by @ecks033 Ciudad de Mexico, this Thursday March 5th, 2026, 6-10pm at Low Key Skate Shop. “SIGUE TU CORAZÓN”
“Follow Your Heart” is a visual exploration developed over the past three months. This series emerges from a deeply sensitive process, where emotion is not a represented theme, but the driving force that activates each gesture, each stroke, and each material decision.
The works that make up this exhibition are records of internal states: pulsations, tensions, intuitions, and moments of clarity or doubt. Each piece translates a specific emotional experience, transforming the intangible into form, matter, and presence.
This exhibition does not seek to explain emotions, but to inhabit them. It is an invitation to listen to that which is often perceived before it is understood: the inner impulse that guides us.
Ecks (Mexico City) began his graffiti practice in 2005, understanding the street as a territory of exploration and movement. Since 2011, his work has shifted toward abstraction, where the study of color, form, and composition translates internal states.
His current body of work transforms intuition and emotion into visual journeys that invite viewers to inhabit the painting through a sensorial experience.
Sigue tu corazón” es una exploración plástica desarrollada durante los últimos tres meses. Esta serie surge desde un proceso profundamente sensible, donde la emoción no es un tema representado, sino el motor que activa cada gesto, cada trazo y cada decisión material.
Las obras que conforman esta muestra son registros de estados internos: pulsaciones, tensiones, intuiciones y momentos de claridad o duda. Cada pieza traduce una experiencia emocional específica, convirtiendo lo intangible en forma, materia y presencia.
Esta exposición no busca explicar las emociones, sino habitarlas. Es una invitación a escuchar aquello que, muchas veces, se percibe antes de comprenderse: el impulso interior que nos guía.
Desde 2011 su práctica se orienta hacia la abstracción, donde el estudio del color la forma y la composición traducen estados internos
El trabajo actual que realiza, disfruta de transformar la intuición y emociones en recorridos visuales que invitan a habitar la pintura desde la experiencia sensible.
